West Side Earth Home

Summer 2018 - Santa Cruz 

Located on the Upper West Side, this Earth Home was not only looking for a new deck, but a few additional elements to complete the outdoor living space. One such element was the eye catching pergola, (sized and stained to match the cedar accent siding and accommodate the homeowners favorite backpacking hammocks!) as well as a custom bench with 110v outlets.

Materials selected for this build are as follows:

Decking: Trex Transcend Island Mist deckboards, trimmed with square edged boards and finished with matching 12'' Island Mist fascia.

Lighting: Stairs and steps were given a Trex riser light treatment.

Pergola: Western Red Cedar, stained in light pecan
